Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company vehicle to deliver goods along designated routes.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring secure transit and proper handling.
- Verify accuracy of deliveries against manifest and obtain necessary signatures.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and vehicle inspection reports.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or issues.
- Represent the company professionally to clients and the public.
- Assist with warehouse duties or other tasks as needed during downtime.
- Ensure timely and efficient completion of daily delivery schedules.
Required Skills
- Valid Code 8/B driver's license (or equivalent for light vehicles) in South Africa.
- Clean driving record.
