Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test robotic applications and systems, including end-effectors, grippers, and peripheral equipment.
- Program and configure industrial robots (e.g., KUKA, ABB, Fanuc, Siemens) for various tasks such as assembly, welding, material handling, and inspection.
- Integrate robotic systems with existing PLCs, SCADA, HMI, and other automation equipment.
- Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and risk assessments for new robotic solutions.
- Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of deployed robotic cells to ensure maximum uptime and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, mechanical, and software engineers to deliver comprehensive automation solutions.
- Develop detailed documentation, including user manuals, system specifications, and test plans.
- Provide technical support and training to clients and operational staff.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in robotics and industrial automation.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Robotics Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with industrial robotics programming and integration.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or C#.
- Strong understanding of PLC programming (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000) and HMI development.
- Experience with robotic simulation software (e.g., RoboDK, Process Simulate, Visual Components).
- Solid knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Profinet, EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP/IP).
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Robotics or related advanced field.
- Experience with vision systems integration for robotic guidance and inspection.
- Familiarity with safety standards for robotic systems (e.g., ISO 10218, ANSI/RIA R15.06).
- Project management experience in an industrial automation setting.
