Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Roadside Food Vendor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves preparing and selling a variety of popular Nigerian dishes from a designated roadside location, ensuring food quality, maintaining cleanliness, managing inventory, and providing friendly and efficient service to customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the food vending operation, from preparation and cooking to customer interaction and sales transactions. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized food preparation area.
- Manage food inventory and supplies, placing timely orders for restocking.
- Provide excellent customer service, handling orders efficiently and courteously.
- Process transactions accurately and handle cash payments efficiently.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the food vending area, both indoors and outdoors.
- Promote daily specials and menu items to increase sales.
- Report daily sales and inventory levels to the management team.
- Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
Required Skills
- Experience in food preparation and cooking.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Basic cash handling and record-keeping skills.
