Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards according to company guidelines and planograms.
- Ensure all products are correctly displayed, priced, and adequately stocked on shelves and display units.
- Rotate stock efficiently to minimize wastage and ensure product freshness and availability.
- Set up promotional displays and signage accurately and on time to support marketing campaigns.
- Monitor inventory levels, report discrepancies, and assist with stock counts and replenishment.
- Maintain a neat, tidy, and organized sales floor and backroom area.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers with product location and information when needed.
- Identify and communicate merchandising opportunities or challenges to store management.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and security policies and procedures.
- Assist with general store operations as required, including unpacking deliveries.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in retail merchandising or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of visual merchandising principles and techniques.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to lift, move, and arrange merchandise.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic retail environment.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Matric).
- Certificate or Diploma in Retail Management, Visual Merchandising, or a related field.
- Previous experience with Pep Stores or a similar large-scale retail environment.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
