Key Responsibilities
- Patrol designated retail areas regularly to maintain a visible presence and deter potential theft or misconduct.
- Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV cameras, to identify suspicious activities or security breaches.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations, following established protocols.
- Conduct thorough investigations of incidents, documenting observations and actions taken in detailed reports.
- Enforce store policies and procedures, ensuring compliance from both customers and staff.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers with inquiries and offering directions, while maintaining security awareness.
- Collaborate effectively with store management and law enforcement agencies when necessary.
- Assist in the opening and closing procedures of the retail establishment, securing all entry and exit points.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times, representing the company with integrity.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions and stay updated on security best practices and company policies.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to obtain and maintain relevant security licenses/certifications (training provided).
