Key Responsibilities
- Implement and execute visual merchandising strategies and guidelines across designated retail locations.
- Create attractive and impactful product displays, window displays, and in-store promotions to maximize sales.
- Ensure all merchandise is strategically placed, well-stocked, correctly priced, and rotated according to company standards.
- Monitor inventory levels on the sales floor, identify fast-moving and slow-moving items, and communicate insights to store management.
- Collaborate effectively with store staff and management to coordinate promotional activities and maintain merchandising standards.
- Conduct regular store visits and audits to assess merchandising effectiveness, compliance, and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide constructive feedback and training to store teams on best practices for product presentation and visual standards.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to optimize product placement, category layouts, and promotional areas.
- Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and appeal of all display areas and ensure brand consistency.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a retail merchandising or visual display role.
- Strong understanding of visual merchandising principles and retail sales environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
- High level of attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics and design.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Physical ability to lift, move, and arrange merchandise as required.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of local languages (e.g., Sepedi) is a plus.
- Basic computer literacy for reporting and communication.
