Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of retail associates to achieve sales targets and operational goals.
- Oversee all aspects of daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and compliance.
- Drive sales performance through effective merchandising, promotional activities, and exceptional customer service.
- Manage inventory levels, including receiving, stocking, and preventing loss, to ensure product availability.
- Implement and maintain Uniqlo's visual merchandising standards to create an inviting and engaging store environment.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and develop strategic action plans.
- Recruit, train, and conduct performance evaluations for store staff, fostering a positive and productive work culture.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and all relevant local labor laws.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints efficiently, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Monitor competitor activities and provide feedback to enhance store competitiveness.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in retail management, preferably in a fashion or apparel environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team.
- Strong understanding of retail operations, including sales, inventory management, and visual merchandising.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Japanese (native or business-level proficiency) and English.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Proficiency in using POS systems and retail management software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
