Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with product inquiries, locating items, and providing exceptional service.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently, processing cash, card, and other payment methods.
- Maintain well-stocked and visually appealing merchandise displays on shelves, ensuring products are rotated and front-faced.
- Assist with receiving, unpacking, and checking incoming stock, reporting any discrepancies or damaged goods.
- Ensure the store premises, including aisles, checkout areas, and restrooms, are clean, tidy, and organised at all times.
- Handle customer returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies.
- Assist in taking inventory counts and managing stock levels.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards within the store.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve daily operational goals and provide mutual support.
- Promote special offers and loyalty programs to customers.
