Job Description
Are you passionate about creating exceptional customer experiences and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment? Career.supersecrets is excited to partner with a reputable local retail chain in Belfast, Northern Ireland, to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Retail Associate & Stock Coordinator. This hybrid role offers a unique opportunity to be the face of our client’s brand, directly engaging with customers while also ensuring the smooth and efficient management of inventory. You will play a crucial role in maintaining store aesthetics, assisting shoppers with their needs, and meticulously overseeing stock levels, deliveries, and replenishment processes. This position is ideal for an individual who possesses excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. We are looking for someone who can seamlessly transition between assisting customers on the sales floor, providing product knowledge, and retreating to the stockroom to organize and manage merchandise. If you are eager to contribute to a vibrant team, learn new skills, and make a tangible impact on daily operations, this is the perfect opportunity to advance your career within the thriving retail sector. Our client values team players who are reliable, adaptable, and committed to delivering high standards of service and operational efficiency. The role demands energy, enthusiasm, and a genuine desire to contribute to both sales targets and operational excellence, ensuring every customer interaction is positive and every product is available and accounted for. You’ll be instrumental in creating an inviting shopping atmosphere and a well-managed back-of-house operation, vital for business success. This role goes beyond simple transactions; it’s about building rapport, understanding customer preferences, and ensuring they leave satisfied with both their purchase and their experience. On the stock management side, you will be responsible for receiving shipments, accurately counting and cataloging new products, arranging items efficiently on shelves, and ensuring all stock is presented appealingly on the sales floor. You will also assist with inventory audits, identifying discrepancies and contributing to loss prevention efforts. The successful candidate will become an integral part of a supportive team, contributing to a positive workplace culture while developing valuable skills in sales, customer service, and logistical coordination within a dynamic retail setting.
