As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be the front-line ambassador of the restaurant, responsible for providing impeccable service from the moment guests arrive until their departure. Your role will encompass taking orders accurately, serving food and beverages efficiently, and ensuring that every diner feels welcomed, valued, and completely satisfied. Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greeting and seating guests upon their arrival, making them feel welcome and comfortable.
- Presenting menus, explaining daily specials, and recommending dishes and beverages to enhance the dining experience.
- Taking accurate food and beverage orders from guests, clarifying any special requests or dietary needs.
- Serving meals and drinks promptly, courteously, and with attention to presentation and detail.
- Checking on guests periodically to ensure satisfaction, anticipate needs, and address any concerns proactively.
- Clearing tables efficiently, resetting them for the next guests, and assisting with general restaurant upkeep.
- Processing payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and card transactions with integrity.
- Collaborating closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely order delivery.
- Adhering strictly to all food safety and hygiene regulations to maintain a safe and clean dining environment.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and stocked work area at all times, including service stations and dining areas.
- Handling guest complaints and feedback professionally, seeking resolutions to ensure a positive outcome and guest retention.
Required Skills
- Proven customer service excellence with a genuine desire to help others.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and non-verbal) to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
- Ability to work efficiently and remain composed in a fast-paced, high-pressure restaurant environment.
- Basic math skills for handling payments, making change, and calculating bills accurately.
- Excellent memory for orders, menu details, and guest preferences to provide personalized service.

- Fluency in Kinyarwanda and working knowledge of English to cater to a diverse clientele.
