Job Description
We are actively seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Waiters and Waitresses to join our dynamic team for immediate placement at Namaqua Lodge Restaurant in Springbok. Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and seat guests upon arrival, presenting menus and daily specials.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, using our point-of-sale system.
- Provide detailed information about menu items, ingredients, and potential allergens.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally, ensuring correct presentation and temperature.
- Monitor dining areas to ensure cleanliness, tidiness, and proper table settings.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly and courteously to all requests.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any dining-related issues with a friendly and problem-solving approach.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and card transactions.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, bar staff, and other team members to ensure smooth service.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down dining areas.
