Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome all guests upon their arrival, making them feel instantly at ease.
- Manage reservations, walk-ins, and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize dining flow.
- Escort guests to their tables, presenting menus, and introducing them to their server.
- Maintain an organized and clean host stand and entrance area at all times.
- Answer phone calls professionally, providing information and taking reservations accurately.
- Anticipate and address guest needs and inquiries promptly and courteously.
- Collaborate closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service operations.
- Handle guest complaints or special requests with grace, escalating to management when necessary.
- Assist with preparing tables for new guests and maintaining cleanliness during service.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the menu, daily specials, and restaurant policies.
