Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and sanitizing all restaurant floors, surfaces, and equipment.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including ovens, grills, fryers, countertops, and storage rooms, ensuring adherence to hygiene standards.
- Wash and properly store all dishes, glassware, cutlery, and kitchen utensils.
- Empty and clean waste bins regularly, ensuring proper waste disposal and recycling procedures are followed.
- Clean and maintain public and staff washrooms within the restaurant area, ensuring they are always fully stocked and immaculate.
- Polish chrome, glass, and other surfaces to a high shine.
- Monitor and report any maintenance issues, damages, or hazards to management promptly.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and company policies.
- Assist with deep cleaning projects as scheduled or required.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used correctly and maintained in good working order.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a thorough approach to cleaning tasks.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and prolonged standing.
