Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the residential property, including common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems, responding promptly to suspicious activities or emergencies.
- Enforce community rules, regulations, and access control procedures consistently and respectfully.
- Respond to resident inquiries, concerns, and emergencies, providing assistance and escalating issues as necessary.
- Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and maintenance reports.
- Deter criminal activity, vandalism, and unauthorized access through visible presence and proactive measures.
- Assist residents and visitors with directions and general information about the property.
- Collaborate with property management to address security vulnerabilities and implement preventative strategies.
- Perform basic first aid or emergency response until professional help arrives.
- Ensure all entry and exit points are secured according to protocol.
Required Skills
- Valid California Security Guard Card (BSIS)
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience in security, preferably in a residential or hospitality setting
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting and resident interaction
- Ability to remain calm and exercise sound judgment under pressure
- Proficiency in operating surveillance equipment and basic security technology
- Physical ability to perform duties, including standing, walking, and light lifting for extended periods
