As our Remote Welding Design & Consulting Specialist, you will be instrumental in the virtual review and optimization of welding procedures, material specifications, and structural designs. Key Responsibilities
- Virtually review and approve welding procedure specifications (WPS) and procedure qualification records (PQR).
- Provide expert consultation on weldment design, material selection, and fabrication methods to project teams.
- Ensure strict adherence to international welding codes (e.g., ASME, AWS, ISO) and project-specific requirements.
- Conduct remote technical reviews of engineering drawings, specifications, and client requirements related to welding.
- Troubleshoot complex welding-related issues and provide remote guidance for corrective actions.
- Develop and update welding standards, best practices, and quality control protocols.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers on welding-related aspects of bids, proposals, and project planning.
- Perform root cause analysis for welding defects and recommend preventive measures.

Required Skills
- Extensive experience in various welding processes (SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, SAW).

- Expertise in major international welding codes and standards (ASME Section IX, AWS D1.1, D1.6, ISO 15614, etc.).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration and documentation.
- Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for design review.

Preferred Qualifications
