Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Remote UI/UX Designer to join our innovative and dynamic team based out of the Philippines. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in shaping the user experience and interface of our cutting-edge digital products and services. As a Remote UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for the entire design lifecycle, from initial concept and research to final implementation and iteration. This includes conducting user research, creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure that design solutions are not only user-centered but also technically feasible and aligned with business objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to understand user needs, behaviors, and motivations.
- Translate research findings into user flows, journey maps, personas, and information architecture diagrams.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile applications.
- Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and design systems.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and other designers throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Present and articulate design decisions and rationale to stakeholders, incorporating feedback iteratively.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in design critiques, providing and receiving constructive feedback to elevate design quality.
- Ensure accessibility standards are met in all design deliverables.
- Document design specifications and collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Demonstrable experience creating wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UIs.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for remote collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
- A strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design experience and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with responsive design for various devices and screen sizes.
- Solid grasp of accessibility standards (WCAG).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with design systems creation and maintenance.
- Familiarity with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to better understand technical constraints.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Understanding of analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to inform design decisions.
