OfferZen is looking for a talented individual to join our growing product team as a Remote UI/UX Designer. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions and validate hypotheses.
- Translate user needs, business requirements, and technical constraints into intuitive and functional design solutions.
- Create wireframes, user flows, storyboards, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for various features and product areas.
- Design and maintain reusable UI components and contribute to our existing design system to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Present design concepts and rationale to internal teams, incorporating feedback effectively.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles and best practices across the organisation.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design tools, and emerging technologies to continuously improve our design practices.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing design thinking and execution.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma (preferred), Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, usability best practices, and accessibility standards.
- Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and translating insights into actionable design improvements.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about complex user journeys and product challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Experience working in a remote-first product development environment.
- Familiarity with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to better understand technical constraints.
- Experience designing for B2B SaaS platforms or marketplace products.
- Knowledge of animation principles and experience creating motion prototypes.
