To ensure the uninterrupted operation and security of our vital infrastructure, we are seeking a highly skilled and exceptionally vigilant Remote Security Guard, whom we term a Virtual Surveillance Specialist, to be based remotely in Willowmore, Eastern Cape. As a Remote Security Guard, you will be the cornerstone of our virtual security command center, tasked with the critical responsibility of continuously monitoring our expansive wind farm assets and related facilities. This includes, but is not limited to, real-time observation of high-definition CCTV camera feeds, meticulous analysis of sophisticated alarm systems, and proactive management of remote access control platforms. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct continuous virtual patrols and monitor multiple CCTV feeds, access control systems, and alarm panels across various remote sites.
- Identify and evaluate potential security threats, unauthorized access attempts, and operational anomalies in real-time.
- Respond promptly to alarms and security alerts, verifying incidents through virtual tools and escalating appropriately.
- Coordinate effectively with on-site security personnel, maintenance teams, and external emergency services (police, fire, medical) during critical events.
- Maintain detailed incident logs, prepare comprehensive reports on security breaches, suspicious activities, and system malfunctions.
