Job Description
Fidelity Services Group is seeking a dedicated and vigilant Remote Security Guard to join our advanced remote monitoring team, operating from a designated virtual command center. This unique role allows you to perform critical security duties by leveraging state-of-the-art surveillance and communication technologies to protect multiple client sites without being physically present on location. As a Remote Security Guard, you will be the integral ‘eyes and ears’ for various establishments, meticulously monitoring live CCTV feeds, interpreting complex alarm signals, and orchestrating rapid response protocols through digital channels. Your acute observational skills, combined with swift decision-making abilities, will be paramount in identifying potential threats, documenting incidents thoroughly, and ensuring the timely dispatch of on-site personnel or emergency services when required. Key Responsibilities
- Proactively monitor multiple live CCTV camera feeds, access control systems, and other security technologies across various client sites from a remote station, identifying suspicious activities, intrusions, or breaches.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to all alarm activations, verifying legitimacy through remote viewing and coordinating immediate on-site response teams or emergency services as required.
- Conduct virtual patrols of designated areas at regular intervals, performing detailed checks on perimeter security, access points, and critical infrastructure using advanced surveillance tools and software.
- Accurately document all security incidents, observations, and actions taken in comprehensive reports, ensuring all relevant information is captured for investigation, analysis, and record-keeping purposes.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with on-site security personnel, clients, and emergency services to relay critical information, provide guidance, and coordinate joint security efforts.
- Operate and troubleshoot remote monitoring software and hardware, ensuring optimal performance and reporting any technical issues promptly to maintain seamless operational continuity.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, client-specific security protocols, and regulatory requirements, maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in security operations, surveillance, or a control room environment.
- Strong observational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
- Proficiency in using computer systems, remote monitoring software, and digital communication tools.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) for clear and concise reporting and coordination.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, multitask efficiently, and make quick, sound decisions in critical situations.
- Valid PSiRA Grade C or higher registration.
