Job Description
Afrisam is seeking a highly organized and proactive Remote General Laborer to join our dedicated team, providing essential administrative and logistical support to our operations primarily within the KwaZulu-Natal region. This unique remote position redefines the ‘General Laborer’ role, focusing on the critical coordination, documentation, and communication tasks that ensure the seamless operation of our various construction and material supply projects. You will be an integral part of our team, working from your home office to facilitate the efficiency of our on-site general labor teams and project sites.
This role requires a self-motivated individual with exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote setting. Your responsibilities will extend beyond traditional physical labor, encompassing virtual inventory management, scheduling assistance, record-keeping, and serving as a crucial liaison between site personnel, suppliers, and internal departments. The ideal candidate will possess a foundational understanding of construction processes or logistics, coupled with excellent proficiency in digital tools and communication platforms. While the work is remote, a basic familiarity with the demands and requirements of general labor or site operations will be a significant advantage. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a flexible work environment and is eager to contribute to a vital industry, bridging the gap between remote coordination and practical site execution. If you are a methodical individual looking to apply your organizational talents in a dynamic and impactful role, we encourage you to apply.

- Respond promptly to inquiries and provide timely support to on-site teams regarding logistical, administrative, or resource-related needs.
- Assist in the preparation of preliminary cost estimates and detailed material requisitions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of remote operational support processes and digital tools.
