Key Responsibilities
- Remotely monitor crop health, growth stages, and field conditions using GIS, satellite imagery, and drone data platforms.
- Analyze data from soil sensors, weather stations, and other IoT devices to inform precise irrigation, fertilization, and pest management strategies.
- Develop and maintain detailed digital farm maps, operational records, and historical performance data.
- Assist in the remote planning and scheduling of planting, harvesting, pruning, and other seasonal farm activities.
- Coordinate remotely with on-site farm managers regarding resource allocation, equipment readiness, and labor requirements.
- Research and recommend innovative agricultural technologies and best practices applicable to remote monitoring and management.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on farm performance, yield projections, and operational efficiency for management review.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of sustainable farming protocols and environmental impact assessments from a remote perspective.
- Provide remote technical support for troubleshooting issues related to farm data systems and software.
