Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily feeding and watering of livestock (cattle, sheep, horses, etc.)
- Undertake general animal husbandry tasks, including cleaning pens, checking health, and assisting with veterinary visits
- Participate in basic pasture and land management, such as fencing repair and clearing brush
- Support with machinery operation and maintenance under supervision (tractors, mowers, etc.)
- Perform general estate maintenance, including gardening, building upkeep, and repairs
- Aid in seasonal tasks like haymaking, harvesting, and planting
- Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the ranch premises and equipment
- Follow all health and safety guidelines diligently
- Maintain accurate records of animal health, feed, and other relevant data
- Report any issues or concerns to senior staff promptly
