Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily feeding and watering routines for various small livestock and poultry species.
- Clean and maintain animal enclosures, stables, and communal areas to the highest welfare standards.
- Monitor the health and behaviour of animals, reporting any concerns or changes to senior staff immediately.
- Assist with basic animal health checks, grooming, and handling under supervision.
- Undertake general upkeep and maintenance of the project grounds, including fencing, pathways, and equipment.
- Participate in educational outreach activities, engaging with visitors and explaining the project's mission and animal care practices.
- Assist with waste management and composting systems, contributing to the project's sustainability goals.
- Maintain accurate records of animal feeding, health observations, and facility maintenance.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience in an outdoor or hands-on work environment (e.g., gardening, volunteering, manual labour).
- First Aid certification (training can be provided).
