Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products according to specifications.
  • Operate and calibrate various testing equipment and measurement tools, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Document inspection results thoroughly and accurately, maintaining detailed records and logs in accordance with company procedures.
  • Identify and report non-conforming materials or products immediately, initiating corrective action procedures and collaborating on resolutions.
  • Collaborate closely with production teams to address quality issues at their source and implement effective preventive measures.
  • Assist in the development and continuous improvement of quality control processes, procedures, and documentation.
  • Participate actively in training sessions to enhance skills, stay updated on industry standards, and master company protocols.
  • Ensure strict compliance with company quality standards, safety regulations, and all relevant industry specifications and guidelines.

Required Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and precision in all tasks.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Basic computer proficiency for data entry, record keeping, and report generation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective team collaboration and reporting.
  • Ability to work effectively and maintain focus in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new processes, technologies, and quality control methodologies.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift moderate weights (up to 25 lbs).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or quality control setting is a plus, though not required.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma basics).
  • Knowledge of basic statistical process control (SPC) techniques.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certification or an Associate's degree is a bonus.
