Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Public Relations Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing PR strategies to enhance our company’s image, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and effectively manage our public communication. This role requires a dynamic individual with proven experience in media relations, crisis communication, and event planning. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with the Marketing and Sales teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and alignment with corporate goals. The role will also involve developing and maintaining positive relationships with key media outlets, government agencies, and community leaders. You will be responsible for tracking and reporting on PR campaign effectiveness and making data-driven recommendations for improvement. This is a fast-paced environment requiring excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Manage media relations, including writing press releases, pitching stories, and building relationships with journalists.
- Plan and execute PR events, such as press conferences, product launches, and community engagement activities.
- Monitor media coverage and social media conversations to identify potential PR opportunities and challenges.
- Prepare and distribute regular PR reports, analyzing key performance indicators and providing recommendations for improvement.
- Manage crisis communication, proactively addressing any negative publicity or reputational risks.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, community leaders, and industry influencers.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and alignment with corporate goals.

- Proven experience in public relations and media relations
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience working in the pharmaceutical industry or healthcare sector (a plus)
