Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced PSD to WordPress developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, as well as experience with various WordPress themes and plugins. This role involves translating PSD designs into fully functional and responsive WordPress websites, ensuring pixel-perfect accuracy and optimal performance. You will work closely with designers and project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. This is a hybrid role, allowing for both in-office and remote work flexibility. We are looking for a team player who is eager to learn and contribute to the growth of our company. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a wide range of projects for diverse clients, constantly challenging and expanding your skill set. You’ll be involved in all stages of the web development lifecycle, from initial design review to final deployment and maintenance. You will also have the opportunity to contribute ideas and participate in the improvement of our development processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate PSD designs into fully functional and responsive WordPress websites
- Develop and maintain WordPress themes and plugins
- Ensure pixel-perfect accuracy and optimal performance of websites
- Collaborate with designers and project managers to meet project deadlines and budgets
- Troubleshoot and debug website issues
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing
- Stay up-to-date with the latest web development technologies and trends
- Contribute to the improvement of development processes and workflows.
Required Skills
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
- Strong understanding of WordPress themes and plugins
- Experience with PSD to WordPress conversion
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with responsive web design
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in web development
- Experience with various CMS platforms
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular
- Experience with back-end frameworks such as Laravel or Node.js
