Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage projects throughout their entire lifecycle, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, control, and closure, ensuring adherence to ABB's project management methodologies and PMP standards.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer requirements.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed schedules, resource allocation, budget forecasts, and risk management strategies.
- Effectively manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure projects are completed within financial targets, identifying and implementing cost-saving measures where possible.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, developing contingency plans to minimize impact on project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Lead, motivate, and manage cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project communication, providing regular updates to stakeholders, including senior management and clients.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Conduct post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions to drive continuous improvement in project management practices.
- Manage contracts with third-party vendors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, specifically leading complex technical projects.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is mandatory.
- Strong understanding and application of project management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid).
