Ntrepid LLC is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to join our growing team in Frederick, Maryland. In this critical role, you will be responsible for leading complex technical projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. While our core focus is on advanced cyber solutions for the defense and intelligence communities, our projects span a variety of technical domains, client requirements, and operational contexts. You will serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, facilitating communication, managing expectations, and driving successful outcomes. Your day-to-day will involve developing comprehensive project plans, defining scope, allocating resources, identifying and mitigating risks, and meticulously tracking progress. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all phases of complex technical projects, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Define clear project deliverables, milestones, and success criteria, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client expectations.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, developing contingency plans as necessary.
- Monitor project progress, track performance against baselines, and provide regular status reports to senior management and clients.
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, and expenditures, ensuring financial objectives are met.
- Implement and maintain project management best practices, tools, and methodologies.
- Ensure project documentation is accurate, complete, and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
- Foster a collaborative and productive team environment, motivating and guiding project team members.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems) or Business Administration with a strong technical background.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in project management, specifically managing technical or IT projects.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum).
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana, Trello).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (US Citizenship required).
- Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and decision-making skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
- Experience working in the defense, intelligence, or national security sectors.
- Experience with cyber security or advanced networking projects.
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
