Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior estimators in preparing comprehensive cost estimates for various projects, including material, labor, and equipment costs.
- Review project plans, specifications, and scope documents to identify key cost drivers and potential risks.
- Gather and analyze data related to historical project costs, supplier pricing, and subcontractor bids.
- Perform quantity take-offs and compile detailed bills of quantities under supervision.
- Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and project documentation.
- Support the development of proposals and presentations for clients.
- Learn and utilize estimation software and tools effectively to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Participate in site visits and meetings as required to understand project requirements and conditions.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and aligned estimates.
- Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and best practices in project estimation.
