Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior estimators in preparing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for various projects.
- Gather and analyse data pertaining to materials, labour, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
- Review project plans, specifications, and technical drawings to understand scope and requirements.
- Solicit and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Maintain organised and accurate records of estimates, bids, and project data.
- Contribute to the preparation of detailed cost breakdowns and project proposals.
- Learn and apply industry best practices and company estimating procedures.
