Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Perform in-process quality checks to ensure products meet specified standards and identify defects.
- Load and unload materials and products from machines, maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Monitor production schedules and adjust machine settings as needed to optimize output and efficiency.
- Conduct routine machine maintenance and perform minor troubleshooting to prevent downtime.
- Package finished products, ensuring proper labeling and preparation for shipment.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines, policies, and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including equipment and surrounding spaces.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to identify and implement process improvements.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately
- Basic mechanical aptitude for operating and troubleshooting machinery
- Ability to read and follow detailed instructions, blueprints, and production schedules
- Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Commitment to safety protocols and procedures
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles or 5S methodology
