Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Product Manager (Software) to join our innovative team in Bristol. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in defining, developing, and launching cutting-edge software products that enhance our mission to revolutionize the recruitment landscape. As a Product Manager, you will lead the entire product lifecycle from ideation and discovery through to delivery and iteration, working closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and sales. You will champion the voice of the customer, conduct thorough market research, analyze competitive landscapes, and translate user needs and business opportunities into compelling product features and a clear roadmap.

This role demands a blend of strategic thinking, technical acumen, and excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for creating detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria, ensuring alignment with our overarching company vision and strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the product strategy, roadmap, and vision for specific software products or features within the Career.supersecrets ecosystem.
  • Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to identify user needs, market gaps, and business opportunities.
  • Translate strategic objectives and user needs into detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for the engineering team.
  • Prioritize the product backlog effectively, balancing business value, technical feasibility, and user experience.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, UX/UI design, marketing, and sales teams throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
  • Monitor product performance using key metrics, user feedback, and A/B testing, iteratively optimizing products post-launch.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for product-related inquiries, providing thought leadership and evangelizing the product vision internally and externally.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in product management and software development.

Required Skills

  • 4+ years of experience in product management, specifically with software products (SaaS preferred).
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing software products throughout their lifecycle.
  • Strong understanding of agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable product requirements.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and making data-driven product decisions.
  • Strong user empathy and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
  • Familiarity with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Aha!).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience in the HR Tech, Recruitment, or EdTech industry.
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar product management certifications.
  • Experience with user research methodologies and A/B testing platforms.
