We are seeking an experienced and passionate Product Manager (Software) to join our innovative team in Bristol. As a Product Manager, you will lead the entire product lifecycle from ideation and discovery through to delivery and iteration, working closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and sales. Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive the product strategy, roadmap, and vision for specific software products or features within the Career.supersecrets ecosystem.
- Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to identify user needs, market gaps, and business opportunities.
- Translate strategic objectives and user needs into detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for the engineering team.
- Prioritize the product backlog effectively, balancing business value, technical feasibility, and user experience.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, UX/UI design, marketing, and sales teams throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
- Monitor product performance using key metrics, user feedback, and A/B testing, iteratively optimizing products post-launch.
- Act as the primary point of contact for product-related inquiries, providing thought leadership and evangelizing the product vision internally and externally.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in product management and software development.
Required Skills
- 4+ years of experience in product management, specifically with software products (SaaS preferred).
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing software products throughout their lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable product requirements.
- Proficiency in data analysis and making data-driven product decisions.
- Strong user empathy and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
- Familiarity with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Aha!).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Experience in the HR Tech, Recruitment, or EdTech industry.
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar product management certifications.
- Experience with user research methodologies and A/B testing platforms.
