Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for optimizing business processes and driving operational excellence? Capgemini is seeking a talented and driven Process Improvement Consultant to join our dynamic consulting practice in Paris. In this pivotal role, you will work with leading organizations across various sectors to identify, analyze, and re-engineer complex business processes, translating strategic objectives into tangible operational improvements. You will be instrumental in helping our clients enhance efficiency, reduce costs, improve customer satisfaction, and achieve sustainable growth. This position offers a unique opportunity to apply a diverse set of methodologies, including Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, and Business Process Management (BPM), to real-world business challenges. You will collaborate closely with client stakeholders at all levels, from front-line employees to senior executives, guiding them through change and ensuring successful implementation of redesigned processes. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate in comprehensive process assessment workshops to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement within client operations.
  • Analyze complex business processes using various methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping, BPMN) and leverage data-driven insights to uncover root causes.
  • Design and document optimized business processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and future-state workflows that align with client strategic goals.
  • Develop and present compelling recommendations to clients, outlining potential benefits, risks, and detailed implementation roadmaps for process transformation.
  • Facilitate change management activities, ensuring smooth adoption of new processes, tools, and organizational structures within client organizations.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional client teams and Capgemini experts (e.g., IT, data analytics, automation specialists) to integrate process improvements with technology solutions.
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of implemented process changes using key performance indicators (KPIs), providing ongoing support and continuous improvement recommendations.
  • Contribute actively to the development of Capgemini's thought leadership, service offerings, and intellectual capital in the domain of process optimization and operational excellence.
  • Mentor junior consultants and share best practices within the Capgemini consulting community.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (typically 3-5 years) in process improvement, business analysis, or management consulting, preferably within a large organization or consulting firm.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex issues, synthesize information, and formulate practical, actionable solutions.
  • Proficiency in process mapping tools (e.g., Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, Aris) and familiarity with Business Process Management (BPM) suites.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, Design Thinking).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Fluency in both English and French, written and verbal, is essential for effective client engagements and internal collaboration in France.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, PMP, or equivalent.
  • Master's degree or MBA from a reputable institution.
  • Prior experience with digital transformation projects, including the integration of automation technologies (e.g., RPA, AI, Low-Code platforms) in process design.
  • Familiarity with specific industry domains (e.g., Financial Services, Manufacturing, Retail, Public Sector) relevant to Capgemini's diverse client base.
  • Experience working in an international or multicultural consulting environment.
