Career.supersecrets is seeking a highly professional, discreet, and experienced Private Live-in Chauffeur to serve a prominent individual and their family in Zaria, Kaduna. This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated individual to join a private household, ensuring safe, punctual, and comfortable transportation for all designated passengers. As a live-in position, you will be provided with comfortable accommodation and meals, with all operational expenses related to your duties fully covered. Your role extends beyond just driving; you will be an integral part of ensuring the smooth daily operations of personal travel, requiring utmost professionalism, confidentiality, and reliability. The ideal candidate will possess an impeccable driving record, an excellent knowledge of Zaria and surrounding areas, and a proactive approach to vehicle maintenance and route planning. This position demands flexibility, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing first-class service at all times. Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, timely, and comfortable transportation for the principal and family members to various destinations.
- Maintain the assigned vehicle(s) in pristine condition, ensuring cleanliness, optimal mechanical performance, and regular servicing.
- Plan and execute efficient routes, considering traffic conditions, road closures, and passenger preferences.
- Manage vehicle logbooks, fuel receipts, and other related documentation accurately.
- Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage, parcels, and other belongings.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and regulations, maintaining an exemplary driving record.
- Exercise utmost discretion and confidentiality regarding all aspects of the principal's personal and professional life.
- Be available on-call for scheduled and ad-hoc driving assignments, demonstrating flexibility with working hours.
- Perform minor vehicle checks and basic maintenance tasks (e.g., tire pressure, oil levels, fluid checks).
- Run occasional errands and provide personal assistance as requested by the principal.
- Ensure passenger safety and comfort at all times, including during entry and exit from the vehicle.
Required Skills
- Valid Nigerian Driver's License (Class B or above)
- Minimum of 5 years of verifiable professional chauffeur experience
- Impeccable driving record with no history of accidents or serious traffic violations
- Excellent knowledge of Zaria, Kaduna, and major routes within Northern Nigeria
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and basic troubleshooting
- Exceptional punctuality, reliability, and time management skills
- High level of discretion, integrity, and confidentiality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
