Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in preparing and delivering engaging lesson plans tailored to primary school curriculum.
- Provide individualized and small group support to students, helping them grasp concepts and complete assignments.
- Aid in managing classroom behavior, fostering a disciplined, respectful, and positive learning atmosphere.
- Prepare educational materials, visual aids, and learning resources as directed by the lead teacher.
- Supervise students during non-instructional periods such as recess, lunch, and transitions between activities.
- Help maintain classroom organization, ensuring a tidy and conducive learning environment.
- Assist with administrative tasks including record-keeping, attendance tracking, and grading student work.
- Facilitate and support extracurricular activities and school events.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and behavior, under the guidance of the lead teacher.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students at all times.
Required Skills

- Basic proficiency in computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).

Preferred Qualifications
- National Certificate in Education (NCE) or a Diploma in Education/Child Development.
- At least 1 year of proven experience working in a primary school or similar educational setting.
- Fluency in Hausa language (spoken and written) is a significant advantage.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Experience with differentiated instruction techniques.
