Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies and campaigns tailored to client objectives.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with local, regional, and national media contacts across print, broadcast, and digital platforms.
- Draft compelling press releases, media advisories, features, blog posts, and other PR materials.
- Secure positive and impactful media coverage across various channels.
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, providing expert advice, strategic guidance, and regular updates on campaign progress.
- Monitor media coverage, analyse campaign performance, and prepare detailed reports on ROI and key metrics.
- Support event planning and execution, including media attendance coordination and on-site PR management.
- Manage social media content and strategy for clients as part of integrated communication campaigns.
- Identify new business opportunities, contribute to proposal development, and participate in pitches.
- Mentor junior team members, share expertise, and contribute to the overall professional development of the team.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in public relations, preferably within an agency setting or working directly with non-profit/cultural organisations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and persuasive storytelling abilities.
- Demonstrable media relations expertise with a strong network of contacts across various media outlets.
