Key Responsibilities
- Assisting hotel guests with luggage handling during check-in and check-out.
- Transporting items, packages, and messages for guests and internal departments within the hotel.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of bell carts, luggage storage areas, and hotel lobbies.
- Loading and unloading delivery trucks and containers at warehouse docks.
- Organizing and storing inventory in designated warehouse locations accurately and safely.
- Operating basic material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) safely, if trained and certified.
- Assisting with inventory counts, stock rotation, and order picking as needed.
- Ensuring the warehouse is kept tidy, clean, and free of hazards.
- Following all safety protocols and company procedures diligently.
- Responding to guest requests and internal team needs promptly and courteously.
Required Skills
- Excellent physical stamina and strength for lifting and moving heavy items (up to 25kg).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Basic verbal communication skills in English.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Customer service orientation and a polite demeanor (for hotel aspects).
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling goods and maintaining records.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Porter, Bellhop, or Warehouse Assistant.
- Familiarity with hotel operations and/or warehouse logistics processes.
- Basic understanding of inventory management principles.
- Ability to communicate in additional languages (e.g., Arabic, Hindi, Tagalog).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
