Beyond safety, you will be a key ambassador of the resort, engaging with guests, answering inquiries about facilities, and politely enforcing pool regulations to ensure a harmonious environment for everyone. Maintaining impeccable standards of hygiene is paramount; you will conduct regular checks of water quality, ensure the pool deck, loungers, and surrounding areas are spotless and well-organized, and verify all necessary equipment, from safety floats to first-aid kits, is readily available and in excellent working order.
You will play an integral role in our daily operations, assisting with the setup and breakdown of various pool-side activities or events, promptly reporting any maintenance issues, and collaborating seamlessly with other resort departments, including Food & Beverage and Housekeeping, to ensure a cohesive and high-quality guest journey. Key Responsibilities
- Actively supervise guests in and around the pool area to ensure their safety and prevent accidents.
- Enforce all pool rules and regulations courteously and effectively, ensuring a harmonious environment for all guests.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the pool deck, sun loungers, and surrounding facilities.
- Conduct regular checks of water quality, temperature, and chemical levels, reporting any discrepancies or issues promptly.
- Perform basic first aid and CPR as needed, and respond to emergencies according to established resort protocols.
- Assist guests with inquiries, provide towels, and ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience at the pool.
- Inspect pool equipment and facilities daily for damage or hazards, reporting maintenance needs immediately.
- Assist in setting up and clearing pool-side areas for various events, activities, or daily operations.
- Maintain a professional, approachable, and attentive presence at all times, demonstrating exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate effectively with other resort departments to ensure seamless guest service and operational efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (minimum 6 months) as a Pool Attendant or Lifeguard in a hospitality or resort setting.
- Valid Lifeguard certification (e.g., UAE Ministry of Health, Dubai Municipality, or internationally recognized equivalent).
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages (e.g., Arabic, Russian, Hindi, Tagalog) is a significant advantage.
