Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in residential and commercial settings.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues efficiently and accurately.
- Perform pipework, fitting, and fixture installations (e.g., sinks, toilets, showers).
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and building regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Manage materials, tools, and equipment effectively to complete jobs.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to plan plumbing layouts.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks and preventative plumbing work.
Required Skills
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating (or equivalent recognised qualification).
- Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience as a Plumber.
- Proven diagnostic and problem-solving abilities in plumbing scenarios.
- Excellent practical skills in pipe fitting, soldering, and general plumbing tasks.
- Valid UK driving license with a clean record.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Gas Safe registration (if role involves gas appliances).
- Experience with commercial plumbing systems.
- Advanced fault-finding capabilities.
- CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme).
- First Aid certification.
