Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers with installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks across various properties.
- Carry tools, equipment, and materials to and from job sites efficiently and safely.
- Prepare work areas by clearing obstructions, protecting surrounding surfaces, and setting up equipment.
- Clean up job sites after work is completed, ensuring proper disposal of waste and debris.
- Observe and learn proper plumbing techniques, safety procedures, and local building codes from experienced professionals.
- Help in cutting, threading, and joining pipes, as well as installing fixtures and appliances, as instructed.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring their longevity and readiness for use.
- Strictly follow all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members, property residents, and tenants to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform basic administrative tasks as needed, such as documenting materials used or assisting with work orders.
Required Skills
- Strong willingness to learn and grow within the plumbing trade.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and diligently.
- Good physical stamina and capability to lift heavy objects (e.g., pipes, water heaters).
