Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems, including pipes, fittings, fixtures, water heaters, and drainage systems.
- Help diagnose and troubleshoot common plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, reduced water pressure, and fixture malfunctions.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance checks on plumbing infrastructure across various client sites, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.
- Carry out basic plumbing repairs and replacements under direct supervision, ensuring strict compliance with all company safety standards and relevant building codes.
- Prepare, organize, and transport tools, equipment, and materials efficiently for various plumbing tasks and projects.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times, ensuring proper disposal of waste and debris according to environmental guidelines.
- Strictly follow all company safety policies and procedures, consistently utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Accurately document all completed tasks, materials used, time spent, and any issues encountered or recommendations made during service delivery.
- Respond promptly and efficiently to emergency plumbing calls as part of a collaborative team effort, minimizing disruption to clients.
- Actively participate in training sessions and continuously learn and develop new plumbing techniques, technologies, and best practices.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with team members, supervisors, and clients regarding work status, potential issues, and solutions.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of plumbing principles, systems, and components.
- Familiarity with common plumbing tools and equipment (wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers, etc.).
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work effectively as an integral part of a team.
