Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fittings, and fixtures involved in water distribution, sanitation, and drainage systems.
- Interpret blueprints and building specifications to determine layouts for plumbing systems.
- Inspect plumbing systems and other components for leaks, clogs, and other hazards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex plumbing issues in residential and commercial settings.
- Cut, assemble, and install pipes and tubes with attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.
- Install and repair plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, bathtubs, water heaters, and dishwashers.
- Ensure all installations and repairs meet local building codes, safety standards, and client requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with other construction professionals, including electricians, carpenters, and general contractors.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tools and equipment.
- Provide accurate estimates for labor and materials as required.
- Educate clients on plumbing maintenance and preventative measures.
Required Skills
- Certified Plumber qualification
- Proven experience in residential and commercial plumbing
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and tools
