Job Description
Providence Saint John’s Health Center seeks a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive physical therapy services to patients with a wide range of conditions, from orthopedic injuries to neurological disorders. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs and goals. This position requires a strong understanding of therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and patient education strategies. You will be responsible for evaluating patient progress, modifying treatment plans as needed, and documenting all aspects of patient care accurately and comprehensively. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess physical function and identify treatment needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and goals.
- Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other interventions to improve patient function.
- Educate patients and their families on appropriate exercises, home programs, and self-management strategies.
- Monitor patient progress, modify treatment plans as needed, and document all aspects of patient care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Participate in continuing education activities to maintain professional competency.
