This is an incredible opportunity for someone passionate about photography to gain invaluable hands-on experience across a diverse range of projects. Based in the picturesque surroundings of Harrogate, North Yorkshire, you’ll be instrumental in supporting our lead photographers on location shoots, in the studio, and throughout the post-production process.
As a Photography Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring every shoot runs smoothly and efficiently. This isn’t just about carrying equipment; it’s about learning the intricacies of professional photography, understanding light, composition, and client management from seasoned experts.
We value a keen eye for detail, a willingness to learn, and a proactive attitude. You’ll be exposed to various photographic styles and genres, from commercial branding and architectural photography to family portraits and event coverage, reflecting Harrogate’s rich mix of businesses, landscapes, and community events. This flexible role is perfect for students, aspiring photographers, or anyone looking to build a portfolio and develop practical skills in a supportive and fast-paced environment. If you’re eager to contribute creatively, handle a variety of tasks, and grow within the vibrant world of visual arts, we encourage you to apply. This role promises not only practical skill development but also significant networking opportunities within the local creative industry.
