Key Responsibilities
- Assist photographers with equipment setup, breakdown, and maintenance on-location and in-studio.
- Manage and organize photography gear, ensuring all items are accounted for and in working order.
- Support lighting adjustments and backdrop changes during photo shoots.
- Handle and manage digital files, including importing, sorting, backing up, and basic pre-selection.
- Perform minor photo editing tasks such as cropping, colour correction, and retouching under guidance.
- Communicate effectively with clients and subjects to ensure a smooth and comfortable shoot experience.
- Run errands related to shoots, such as collecting props or delivering equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organised studio space and work area.
- Proactively anticipate needs and offer assistance to ensure efficient project execution.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of photography principles and equipment.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office).
- Ability to follow instructions precisely and work effectively as part of a team.
