Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute event photography, covering corporate functions, conferences, weddings, concerts, and social gatherings.
- Conduct commercial photography sessions, including product photography, corporate headshots, brand campaigns, and architectural shoots.
- Liaise directly with clients to understand their vision, specific requirements, and deliverables for each project.
- Manage all aspects of photography from setup, lighting, and shooting to post-production (editing, retouching, color correction).
- Ensure all photographic equipment is well-maintained and in excellent working condition.
- Deliver high-resolution, polished images within agreed-upon deadlines.
- Maintain a consistent brand image and photographic style where required by clients.
- Adhere to ethical practices and professional conduct at all times.
- Continuously update skills and knowledge of industry trends and photography techniques.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an Events and/or Commercial Photographer (minimum 2 years).
- Proficiency in professional-grade camera equipment (DSLR/Mirrorless) and accessories.
- Expertise in photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or Capture One.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating diverse experience in event and commercial photography.
- Excellent understanding of lighting techniques, composition, and visual storytelling.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within Abuja for assignments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Experience with videography and video editing is a plus.
- Familiarity with drones for aerial photography/videography.
