Key Responsibilities
- Plan, set up, and execute photography shoots for various events (e.g., conferences, workshops, galas, product launches) and commercial projects (e.g., product photography, corporate portraits, marketing visuals).
- Utilize professional-grade camera equipment, lighting, and other accessories to achieve desired visual outcomes.
- Edit and retouch photographs to a high standard, ensuring consistency, color accuracy, and overall image quality, adhering to brand guidelines and client specifications.
- Work closely with clients and project managers to understand project briefs, creative vision, and delivery timelines.
- Manage project workflow efficiently, including scheduling, shooting, post-production, and final delivery of images.
- Maintain and organize photographic equipment, ensuring it is in excellent working condition.
- Stay updated with industry trends, photography techniques, and editing software to continuously enhance skills and offerings.
- Provide excellent client service, ensuring a positive and professional experience throughout each project.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an event and commercial photographer with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse work.
- Expert proficiency with professional DSLR/mirrorless cameras and various lenses.
- Advanced knowledge of lighting techniques (natural and artificial) and composition.
- Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Lightroom, Photoshop) for image editing and retouching.
- Strong understanding of color theory, exposure, and image resolution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and subjects.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
- Reliable personal transportation and willingness to travel to various locations within Abuja.
Preferred Qualifications
- A degree or diploma in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Experience with videography and video editing is a plus.
- Proficiency with studio lighting setups and equipment.
