Key Responsibilities
- Execute high-quality photography for a diverse range of events including corporate functions, social gatherings, and public ceremonies.
- Produce compelling commercial imagery for product showcases, brand campaigns, lifestyle shoots, and corporate portraits.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand project briefs, creative vision, and desired outcomes.
- Conduct pre-shoot planning, including location scouting, equipment preparation, and shot list development.
- Perform professional post-production editing, including colour correction, retouching, and image optimization using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop).
- Ensure timely delivery of final edited images in specified formats and resolutions.
- Maintain and care for personal photography equipment, ensuring it is always in optimal working condition.
- Manage project timelines, schedules, and client communications effectively.
- Adhere to professional etiquette and represent Career.supersecrets and its clients with integrity.
- Continuously update skills and knowledge of industry trends, techniques, and equipment.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in professional-grade camera equipment (DSLR/Mirrorless) and lighting techniques.
- Expertise in photo editing software, particularly Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in both event and commercial photography.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and briefing.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong understanding of composition, lighting, colour theory, and visual storytelling.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various locations within Abuja.
- Business acumen for managing freelance work, including invoicing and client relations.
