This exciting role focuses on capturing compelling visuals for a diverse range of clients across events and commercial sectors within Garki, Abuja, and surrounding areas. As a freelance Photographer, you will be instrumental in bringing our clients’ stories to life, whether documenting the energy of a corporate conference, the joy of a social gathering, or creating striking commercial images for marketing campaigns. Your work will directly contribute to our clients’ success, providing them with visual assets that resonate with their target audiences and enhance their brand presence. Key Responsibilities
- Execute photographic assignments for various events (e.g., conferences, weddings, parties, product launches) and commercial projects (e.g., corporate headshots, product photography, lifestyle shoots).
- Collaborate with clients and project managers to understand photography briefs, objectives, and desired outcomes.
- Plan and prepare for shoots, including scouting locations, arranging equipment, and establishing shot lists.
- Operate professional camera equipment, lighting, and accessories effectively to capture high-resolution images.
- Conduct post-production tasks, including image selection, editing, retouching, and color correction, using industry-standard software.
- Ensure all delivered images meet the highest quality standards and client specifications.
- Manage and organize photographic files efficiently, maintaining proper backups and archives.
- Adhere to project timelines and deliver final images within agreed-upon deadlines.

Required Skills
- Proficiency in professional DSLR/Mirrorless cameras and lenses
- Expertise in photographic lighting techniques (natural, studio, flash)
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or equivalent editing software
- Strong understanding of composition, color theory, and visual storytelling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines
- A compelling portfolio showcasing diverse event and commercial photography experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Photography, Fine Arts, or a related field
- Experience with videography and video editing (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)
- Familiarity with drone photography/videography for aerial shots
- Own transportation and ability to travel to various locations within Abuja
