Key Responsibilities
- Execute photography assignments for various events (corporate, social, PR, product launches) and commercial projects (product, lifestyle, portraiture, marketing content) in and around Abuja.
- Consult with clients to understand their vision, objectives, and specific photography requirements for each project.
- Plan and prepare for shoots, including scouting locations, arranging necessary equipment, and establishing shot lists.
- Demonstrate strong technical proficiency in operating professional cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, and other photography tools.
- Conduct comprehensive post-production work, including culling, editing, retouching, and colour grading images to meet client specifications and deliver high-quality final outputs.
- Manage digital assets efficiently, ensuring proper storage, backup, and timely delivery of finished projects.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients and the Career.supersecrets team throughout the project lifecycle.
- Adhere strictly to agreed-upon deadlines and project briefs, ensuring client satisfaction and project success.
- Continuously develop and refine photographic skills, keeping abreast of industry trends, techniques, and emerging technologies.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an Events Photographer and/or Commercial Photographer (minimum 3 years).
- Expertise in professional DSLR/mirrorless camera systems and associated gear.
- Proficiency in photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Capture One).
- Strong understanding of lighting techniques (natural, artificial, studio flash) and composition principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
- A strong, diverse portfolio showcasing a range of event and commercial photography work.
- Reliable transportation for on-site assignments across Abuja and surrounding areas.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or certification in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related creative field.
